9.30am. Sat in Urban Coffee Co on Church Street, Birmingham. We’ve made the move to the Jewellery Quarter now. Enjoying it. Very communal. I’ve been making furniture out of whatever wood I can find: a bed made from old delivery pallets, a bookcase made from an old table top. I’m learning to appreciate the beauty of imperfection. Loving the cull in belongings too as we seek to downsize: books that I once read and probably never will again, accessories, DVDs, clothes… there’s beauty in simplicity too.

Rehearsing tonight. Writing this afternoon. New song on the go called THE DECIDER – something that Steve started working on a while ago and is now nearing harvest. There are loads of other ideas knocking around too as always. Still some question marks about where we’re going creatively at the moment. All will be answered in due time, I’m sure. In the meantime, we’re planning to release our most recent recordings this summer in some format, so stay in touch with us through our mailing list and facebook.
